Haven’t posted anything lately. Been extra busy with my TIGSource entry. Wasted a whole week trying to port one of my tools. When that didn’t work I decided just fix what I had. Wise choice.

One of the main reasons I decided to give this comp a shot was to stress test my engine. I haven’t done anything serious with it yet. As it turns out, there’s a bunch of stuff I just hadn’t thought about. This has really slowed my entry down.

2 more days. Will I be able to make it? I sure hope so!

Added transparency to the shadow. Also quickly put in Satan in the game. I still need to code his AI but that’s probably gonna take the whole month to do. NPCs are coming soon.

I worked part of the night on the main actor controls. At this point I’m pretty sure I’m going for Extra Heroes. I have a couple of gameplay ideas.

TIGsource is having a contest. I thought the idea of creating a game from a fake box art was rather fun so I might give it a shot.

I was toying around with some ideas. Right now I’m debating Burp N Shoot or Extra Heroes.
